Fill out 2 page informed consent in iPledge book and 2 in-office consents.
Get urine pregnancy test done at a lab of your choice.
2 days later, our office will receive your test results and register you in the iPledge system. This will start your 30 day hold.
We will call you to let you know when we have received your results and when you should get your first blood test done.
Exactly 30 days after we register you, you will get your first fasting blood test done at a lab of your choice (where you will go each month).
If you get your labs done too early (i.e. before the 30 days), this will NOT count and you will have to repeat the pregnancy test.
2 days after your labs are drawn, you will be seen at our office and receive your first prescription.
Before the pharmacy will dispense your prescription, you must answer your monthly online questionnaire where you will enter your two forms of contraception. A login and password for your online questionnaire will be mailed to you during your 30 day hold.
You will have a 5 day window after you leave our office to pick up your prescription.
If you fail to fill your prescription during this 5 day window, you will have to get a urine pregnancy test done at your lab before you can receive your medication.
After the first month, your labs do not have to be exactly 30 days apart. You have a 5 day flexible window to get your labs drawn and be seen at our office before and after the 30 days.
Try not to go more than 30 days because you will run out of medication.
Each month, you will get your labs drawn 25 - 35 days apart and be seen at our office 2 days later to receive your monthly prescription.
Try not to go more than 30 days because you will run out of medication.
